This increases the abrasion resistance.
Even with this internal reinforcement, Granite has a smooth surface and a high gloss.

The technology features a very strong first layer, an abrasion resistant middle layer and a top layer that was originally developed for professional baking in the food industry but has been successfully applied for kitchen utensils and has excellent non-stick properties. It`s surface is specifically textured in touch.
